About The Position

EDRAY thrives in the most difficult part of the supply chain - the final mile at the ports. Through proprietary technology, processes and most importantly - innovation, we work on your behalf with all stakeholders to keep your freight moving in the most efficient way possible. We are seeking an experienced and dynamic individual to join our team as the Business Representative for our proprietary platform, CPL, reporting to the COO. This role will serve as the primary liaison between the business stakeholders and the technology team, connecting product and technology. This role will also include supporting the roll out of new functionality internally and externally.

Requirements

  • Ability to understand and translate business requirements into product specifications.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of Logistics and Supply Chain operational needs.
  • Familiarity with Transportation Management Systems and logistics processes.
  • Detail-oriented with a focus on continuous improvement.
  • Strong technological acumen with the ability to leverage software and tools to enhance efficiency and operational experience.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to foster effective collaboration and build strong relationships with internal stakeholders. Able to create and deliver presentations to demonstrate newest updates to the Operational Team.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to use data to make informed decisions and drive improvements.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) and other computer software.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field is preferred but not mandatory.

Responsibilities

  • Strategic Alignment:
  • Collaborate with executive team to understand strategic objectives related to product and reporting roadmap.
  • Continually align platform efforts with business goals and objectives.
  • Requirements Gathering:
  • Engage with various business units to gather detailed requirements.
  • Translate business needs and platform gaps into clear and comprehensive business requirements for the technology team.
  • Stakeholder Management:
  • Act as the bridge between the business and technology teams, fostering effective communication and understanding.
  • Keep stakeholders informed about project progress, milestones, and potential impacts.
  • User Training and Support:
  • Develop and implement change management material to ensure a smooth onboarding of new products and functionality.
  • Integration Testing:
  • Collaborate with the technology team to conduct thorough testing of TMS integrations to ensure a smooth rollout.
  • Identify and communication any issues or gaps in integration with all stakeholders.
  • Change Management:
  • Facilitate change management activities to ensure a smooth adoption of the new functionality.
  • Address resistance and promote a positive attitude towards the new system.
  • Issue Resolution:
  • Liaise with RMs and above on system related issues to determine if user or system error.
  • Support prioritization with the business to ensure most effective use of IT resources.
  • Reporting:
  • Develop and implement new reporting to support new system developments to be included in weekly, monthly and quarterly business reviews.
  • Regularly assess and improve the current standard reporting package.
