About The Position

SAP America, Inc. seeks a Business Processes Sr. Consultant at our Alpharetta, CA location to drive business consulting by translating the customer’s vision into solutions. This role supports the transformation towards the Intelligent Enterprise and drives change management to achieve business transformation objectives. The consultant will support end-to-end solution design and configuration across on-premise, cloud, and hybrid environments using state-of-the-art methodologies and standards. They will participate in transition planning, drive deployment of best practice business processes, and support pre-sales activities. The role also involves performing solution reviews, feasibility studies, and supporting escalated projects. Additionally, the consultant may take on responsibilities as a (sub-)project lead or team lead, support line managers in people development, and deliver customer workshops and trainings. Support in partner-led projects is also expected to ensure ecosystem and customer success. The role involves introducing SAP and industry leading practices based on pre-existing templates, standard content, and experience, as well as creating project documentation. The consultant will support the evolution of the services portfolio for their solution area and key related areas, serving as an owner of a service and supporting portfolio updates. Finally, they will support solution testing and issue resolution, and mentor other business process consultants.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Business Administration, or a related field of study and six (6) years of progressive post-baccalaureate experience in the job offered or related occupation. Alternatively, a Master’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Business Administration, or a related field of study and four (4) years of experience in the job offered or related occupation.
  • Delivering SAP Sales and Distribution Order-to-cash (SAP SD/OTC) solutions through all project phases including preparation, design, realization and Go Live of customer implementation projects
  • SAP Activate Implementation Methodology
  • SAP Cloud Strategy – Public Cloud and Private Cloud
  • Delivering SAP solutions in a remote or onsite resource model.

Responsibilities

  • Map business processes to solution requirements.
  • Support the transformation towards the Intelligent Enterprise.
  • Drive change management to achieve business transformation objectives.

  • Take over responsibility as a (sub-)project lead or team lead for a service delivery.
  • Support line manager(s) in people development tasks.
  • Deliver customer workshops and trainings.
  • Support in partner-led projects to ensure ecosystem and customer success.
  • Introduce SAP and industry leading practices based on pre-existing templates, standard content, and experience.
  • Create project documentation and documentation of delivered services.
  • Support the evolution of the relevant section of the services portfolio for the respective solution area and key related areas.
  • Serve as an owner of a service and support updates to the portfolio.
  • Support in solution testing and issue resolution.
  • Mentor business process consultants.
