About The Position

SAP America, Inc. seeks a Business Processes Senior Consultant at our Newtown Square, PA location to drive business consulting by translating the customer’s vision into solutions. This role involves mapping business processes to solution requirements, helping position disruptive business innovation, and supporting the transformation towards the Intelligent Enterprise. The consultant will drive change management to achieve business transformation objectives and support end-to-end solution design and configuration across on-premise, cloud, and hybrid solutions using state-of-the-art methodologies. They will participate in transition planning, drive deployment of best practice business processes, and support pre-sales activities. The role also includes performing solution reviews, feasibility studies, and supporting escalated projects. Occasionally, the consultant may take over responsibility as a (sub-) project lead or team lead for service delivery, and support line managers in people development tasks. Delivering customer workshops and trainings, supporting partner-led projects, and introducing SAP and industry leading practices are also key aspects. The role requires creating project documentation and documentation of delivered services, supporting the evolution of the services portfolio, and assisting in solution testing and issue resolution. The consultant will also mentor business process consultants.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics or a related field of study and six (6) years of progressive post-baccalaureate experience in the job offered or related occupation. Alternatively, a Master’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics or a related field of study and four (4) years of experience in the job offered or related occupation.
  • Four (4) years involving each of the following: SAP Transportation Management (S/4HANA) and SAP SCM-TM with Freight Management, Planning and Optimization, Charge Management, and Carrier selection and settlement;
  • ACM – TM Integration, IS-OIL – TM Integration, and TM – EWM Integration;
  • SAP ABAP Development with oData, CDS View, and performance tuning of SAP Transportation Management (ST12, SAT, and ST05);
  • Post Processing Framework (PPF), Business Rule Framework Plus (BRF+) and Business Object Processing Framework (BOPF);
  • Floorplan Manager (FPM), Process Controller, and FBI (FPM-BOPF Integration); and
  • SAP System Monitoring, including SDF/SMON, STATS, ST02, ST04, ST06, SMQ1, SMQ2, ST22, SBGRFCMON, SM12, SM13, and SM36.
  • Two (2) years involving each of the following: SAP Business Network for Logistics (BN4L); and
  • Enterprise Architecture and Tools, including SAP LeanX and SAP Signavio.

Responsibilities

  • Map business processes to solution requirements.

  • Drive deployment of best practice business processes for specific LoBs or industries.
  • Support pre-sales activities.
  • Perform solution reviews and feasibility studies.
  • Support escalated projects.
  • Occasionally takes over responsibility as a (sub-) project lead or team lead for a service delivery.
  • Support line manager(s) in people development tasks.
  • Deliver customer workshops and trainings.
  • Support in partner-led projects to ensure ecosystem and customer success.
  • Introduce SAP and industry leading practices based on pre-existing templates, standard content and experience.
  • Create project documentation and documentation of delivered services.
  • Support the evolution of the relevant section of the services portfolio for the respective solution area and key related areas; can be owner of a service and/or support updates to the portfolio.
  • Support in solution testing and issue resolution.
  • Can mentor business process consultants.
