About The Position

SAP America, Inc. seeks a Business Processes Senior Consultant at our Newtown Square, PA location to design and implement business processes. This role involves enforcing innovation, service offerings, and prioritization. The consultant will be responsible for the delivery of outcomes for assigned projects and will drive collaboration with customers. They will handle positioning, explanation, and scoping for nonstandard services in the Virtual Project Room to support Front office, Solutioning, and sales. The consultant will understand customer business goals and build engagement and service plans for projects, supporting end-to-end transformation projects from innovation identification to handover to run and extension of existing solutions. They will provide architectural advice for standard solutions, resolve critical customer situations, production downs, and escalations, and contribute to the industrialization of service procedures and SAP products with creative and innovative ideas using the latest technology. This role requires leading through advanced technical or business skills for a complete technology or industry area.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field of study and six (6) years of progressive post-baccalaureate experience in the job offered or related occupation. Alternatively, a Master’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field of study and four (4) years of experience in the job offered or related occupation.
  • Experience must include four (4) years involving each of the following: SAP Oil and Gas Traders and Scheduler’s Workbench (TSW); SAP Nominations & Ticketing in TSW; SAP Sales & Distribution (SD); SAP ABAP and RAP Development; SAP CDS Views and BOPF Development; and SAP Fiori Development and UX Design / Advocate.
  • Up to 30% domestic and international travel to various and unanticipated customer sites and SAP offices to conduct customer and development team meetings.

Responsibilities

  • Enforce innovation, service offerings, and prioritization.
  • Responsible for the delivery of outcome of assigned projects and drives the collaboration with customers.
  • Take over positioning, explanation, and scoping tasks for nonstandard services in the Virtual Project Room to support Front office, Solutioning and sales.
  • Understand the customer business goals and build the engagement and service plan for projects along our standard journey and focus packages.
  • Support the execution E2E transformation projects from innovation identification, handover to run, up to the extension of existing solutions.
  • Provide architectural advices for standard solutions.
  • Take responsibility for delivery of outcome of assigned projects and delivery tasks.
  • Resolve critical customer situations, production downs and escalations.
  • Contribute to the industrialization of service procedure and SAP products with own creative and innovative ideas using latest technology.
  • Lead through advanced technical or business skills for complete technology or industry area.
