About The Position

The EDI Business Process Manager is responsible for leading enterprise EDI operations, ensuring reliable transaction processing, strong vendor compliance, and seamless integration with core business systems. This role will oversee trading partner onboarding, manage day-to-day EDI performance, and drive cross-functional initiatives to improve data quality, operational efficiency, and supply chain execution. The ideal candidate brings a strong mix of technical EDI expertise, supply chain knowledge, and leadership experience in a high-volume environment.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree and at least 2 years of experience in a supply chain or business role OR a High School Diploma/GED and at least 4 years of experience in a supply chain or business role.
  • Advanced level skill in Microsoft Excel (for example: using AVERAGE function, merging and centering cells, printing centered page and/or creating a pivot table).
  • Willing to travel up to 10% of the time for business purposes (within state and out of state).
  • 3–5+ years of experience working with EDI transactions in a high-volume environment
  • Strong knowledge of ANSI X12 standards and transaction sets (e.g., 850, 855, 856, 810, 820, 997)
  • Hands-on experience with EDI platforms and integration tools (e.g., Sterling Integrator, OpenText, SPS Commerce)
  • Experience integrating EDI with ERP systems such as SAP (including AR/AP and invoice processing)
  • Expertise in EDI communication protocols (AS2, SFTP, VAN connectivity)
  • Experience onboarding and managing trading partners, including mapping and certification processes
  • Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills, including experience with SQL and X12 data validation
