Requirements

  • Associate Business Process Analyst: Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in Business, Finance, Accounting, Information Systems, Data Analytics, or similar degree.
  • Associate Business Process Analyst: 0-2 years of professional experience in business process analysis, financial systems support, reporting, data analysis, or related work.
  • Business Process Analyst: Master’s degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, Information Systems, Data Analytics, or a related field.
  • Business Process Analyst: 0 years of experience.
  • Requires an active U.S. Government Top Secret (TS) or Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) security clearance at time of application.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to learn new systems, business processes, and technical tools.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities.

Responsibilities

  • Support recurring business and financial processes and scheduled reporting cycles, including data collection, validation, reconciliation, and reporting, while ensuring deadlines and quality standards are met.
  • Support data flows across systems such as SAP, Cobra, wInsight, and related reporting tools.
  • Manage and support Cobra system processes, including updating Cobra code files, implementing and repricing rate files, and validating data used in cost reporting and reconciliation activities.
  • Support SAP-related business processes, including the creation and maintenance of networks, WBS elements, IWOs, settlement rules, and related project or cost-structure data.
  • Investigate data discrepancies, perform root-cause analysis, and help resolve process or system issues.
  • Prepare recurring and ad hoc reports for business partners, program teams, and leadership using Excel, Power BI, SQL queries, or other reporting tools.
  • Participate in testing, validation, and implementation of system updates, reporting changes, and process improvements.
  • Document business processes, standard operating procedures, job aids, and process flows to improve consistency and knowledge sharing.
  • Partner with cross-functional stakeholders to understand business requirements and support process enhancements.
  • Ensure accuracy and attention to detail in handling sensitive financial and operational data.
  • Independently manage defined processes, contribute to small projects, and recommend practical improvements to reporting, reconciliation, or workflow efficiency.
