The Warehousing & Distribution Center (DC) Business Analyst brings deep functional expertise across inbound, storage, fulfillment, and outbound logistics, combined with strong analytical and systems knowledge to enable efficient, scalable DC operations. Analyze and document end-to-end warehouse and distribution center processes—including receiving, put-away, picking, packing, shipping, cycle counting, and returns—to identify gaps, bottlenecks, and improvement opportunities. Partner with warehouse managers, DC supervisors, logistics, transportation, and inventory stakeholders to translate operational needs into clear functional requirements for WMS, ERP, warehouse mobility, and automation technologies. Support configuration and optimization of warehousing systems (e.g., location strategies, picking methods, labor standards, wave planning, yard and dock management) to improve throughput, accuracy, and service levels. Define and validate business rules, data models, KPIs, and reports related to inventory accuracy, order cycle time, fill rate, dock-to-stock, and labor productivity, while leading UAT and change activities to ensure adoption of standard, repeatable warehouse processes. Role Definition – Business Analyst Gathers and documents user/client requirements, supports the development and testing of new products or services, collects feedback from clients, and recommends improvements. Responsibilities Assisting in the development, testing, and delivery of services/products; Analyzing existing offerings, preparing technical documentation, and recommending upgrades. Conducting market research to do a comparative analysis of competitor offerings and provide recommendations for developing a more effective product/service. Identifying user/client requirements for a product or service and defining technical specifications; Preparing technical documentation and sharing them with senior analysts and technical teams. Supporting senior analysts by fulfilling their data requests, preparing reports, and providing technical assistance; Participating in initiatives to improve processes efficiency and employee productivity.

Requirements

  • 5-7 years of years of experience
  • MBA in supply chain management or related area
  • Exposure and expertise to ERP LN, WMS, Factory Track or other ERP and Warehouse management systems.
  • Business Assessment: Knowledge of the activities, tasks, practices and deliverables for assessing and documenting business opportunities; ability to assess the benefits, risks, and success factors of potential applications and business processes.
  • Requirements Analysis: Knowledge of tools, methods, and techniques of requirement analysis; ability to elicit, analyze and record required business functionality and non-functionality requirements to ensure the success of a system or software development project.
  • Accuracy and Attention to Detail: Understanding the necessity and value of accuracy; ability to complete tasks with high levels of precision.
  • Effective Communications: Understanding of effective communication concepts, tools and techniques; ability to effectively transmit, receive, and accurately interpret ideas, information, and needs through the application of appropriate communication behaviors.
  • Business Data Analysis: Knowledge of business data analysis; ability to collect, identify, analyze and interpret business data using various kinds of techniques to meet business needs and requirements.
  • Technical Writing/Documentation: Knowledge of technical writing; ability to write technical documents such as manuals, reports, guidelines or documents on standards, processes and applications.
  • Research Analysis: Knowledge of the concepts, methodologies and methods of research analysis; ability to locate, interpret and evaluate research findings compiled and documented by others.

Responsibilities
