About The Position

Guidehouse is seeking a Business Process Analyst with a finance focus to join their Operational Effectiveness Consulting team. This role involves delivering Agile project management and end-to-end delivery support for financial system enhancements. Responsibilities include requirements gathering, UI design, user acceptance testing, training, and stakeholder engagement. The position requires in-person support to the client in Indianapolis, IN, and reports directly to the Guidehouse project manager. The analyst will lead or be part of a team applying process improvement methodologies to increase efficiency in financial and operations management. This includes assessing process performance in complex environments, directing requirement collection, supporting business process design and implementation, and coordinating enterprise-wide integration of reengineering efforts. The role also involves facilitating meetings for goal setting, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives and compliance, developing implementation plans, conducting organizational studies, and preparing operational manuals. Familiarity with cost analysis, budget plans, and presenting to senior management is also required.

Requirements

  • Must be able to OBTAIN and MAINTAIN a Federal or DoD "PUBLIC TRUST".
  • Bachelor’s degree.
  • THREE (3) or more years of experience in Business Process Analysis, preferably in finance activities.

Nice To Haves

  • Active CBP BI or reciprocity strongly preferred.
  • NINE (9) or more years of professional experience.
  • Strong preference for Federal experience.
  • Strong preference for financial or accounting experience.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability for oral and written communication with senior levels of management and the Customer.
  • Knowledge of Agile project management and tools (i.e., Jira, Confluence) preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver Agile project management and end-to-end delivery support for enhancements to a financial system.
  • Gather requirements, design User Interface (UI), conduct user acceptance testing, provide training, and engage stakeholders.
  • Lead or be a member of a team applying process improvement, reengineering, modernization, or transformation principles.
  • Assess process performance in complex environments, involving linkages between financial, staffing, support, and operational processes.
  • Direct requirement collection and refinement efforts through interviews, surveys, working sessions, and focus group studies.
  • Support the design and implementation of new or enhanced business processes.
  • Coordinate between multiple project teams to ensure enterprise-wide integration of reengineering efforts.
  • Facilitate meetings to assist management in developing clear statements of quantifiable goals, objectives, requirements, and metrics.
  • Ensure proposed process improvements align with strategic objectives and are compliant with policies, rules, and regulations.
  • Develop realistic and practical implementation plans.
  • Conduct organizational studies and evaluations.
  • Conduct work simplification and measurement studies.
  • Prepare operations, training, and procedural manuals.
  • Develop and interpret cost analysis and budget plans.
  • Develop and present briefings to senior management.
