About The Position

The Business Performance Manager – ISO Excellence will serve as the dedicated, high-touch performance partner to Independent Store Owners (ISOs). This role is responsible for executing and operationalizing enterprise ISO strategies directly within assigned ISO partners to drive measurable financial and operational improvement. This leader will focus on implementing approved pricing, margin, inventory, sales, and program initiatives at the partner level and ensuring disciplined follow-through to deliver results. The Business Performance Manager – ISO Excellence will translate data insights into clear action plans, drive adoption of tools and programs, and ensure sustained performance improvement. Success in this role requires strong financial acumen, structured execution, influence without authority, and the ability to build trusted relationships across independently owned businesses.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, Finance, Operations, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 5–7+ years of experience in operations, pricing, finance, analytics, business performance, or field execution roles.
  • Demonstrated experience driving implementation and measurable results.
  • Strong Excel and data analysis skills.
  • Proven ability to translate data into clear, actionable steps.
  • Experience working cross-functionally to execute initiatives.

  • Experience in distribution or multi-location business environments.
  • Exposure to pricing analysis, margin management, or profitability reporting.
  • Experience supporting field sales or operational teams.

Responsibilities

  • Implement enterprise-approved ISO growth, pricing, margin, rebate, and inventory initiatives within assigned partners.
  • Translate enterprise programs into practical, partner-specific action plans.
  • Coordinate with Finance, Sales, Pricing, Inventory, Supply Chain, and Operations to support implementation of approved initiatives.
  • Monitor initiative progress and document measurable financial outcomes.
  • Escalate risks or barriers to execution when needed.
  • Analyze ISO-level sales, margin, pricing, rebate, and inventory performance data.
  • Identify specific, actionable opportunities to improve profitability and operational effectiveness.
  • Assess trends and highlight risks or growth gaps.
  • Develop recurring reports and performance dashboards to monitor KPIs.
  • Establish baseline metrics and track improvement against defined targets.
  • Evaluate pricing realization and execution gaps.
  • Partner with Sales and Finance to model financial impacts of proposed pricing actions.
  • Support execution of approved pricing adjustments.
  • Monitor post-implementation margin results and recommend corrective actions as needed.
  • Reinforce pricing discipline and consistency at the partner level.
  • Assess effectiveness of promotions, rebates, and growth programs.
  • Quantify program ROI and identify underperforming initiatives.
  • Drive execution of recommended program adjustments.
  • Track and report measurable financial improvements from optimization efforts.
  • Analyze inventory productivity, turns, and aged inventory exposure.
  • Identify specific actions to improve working capital efficiency.
  • Collaborate with Supply Chain and Operations to implement recommended improvements.
  • Promote adoption of reporting tools and operational best practices across ISO locations.
  • Facilitate working sessions with ISO partners and internal stakeholders to review performance data and align on action plans.
  • Coordinate with Finance, Sales, Pricing, Inventory, Supply Chain, and Operations to support implementation of approved initiatives.
  • Follow up on initiative progress and document measurable outcomes.
  • Maintain structured performance scorecards for assigned ISO partners.
  • Track KPIs inclusive of the following: Sales growth, Margin % expansion, Pricing realization, Program ROI, Inventory turns and aged inventory reduction.
  • Conduct recurring business reviews with ISO leadership.
  • Ensure disciplined follow-through on action plans.
  • Provide executive-ready summaries of measurable financial impact.
