About The Position

Protiviti is looking for a Technology Consulting Senior Manager to join our growing Workday team. As an Senior Manager, you'll take a lead role in strengthening our relationships with clients and providing seamless guidance in the completion of engagements. You'll partner with our strategic clients to identify and manage risk. You'll develop strategies to solve complex business problems using new ways of thinking, and devise solutions to support your clients' needs through analytics, automation or the latest tools and methods. You’ll develop new projects, help identify new business, and build lasting relationships with clients and within the community as you serve as an ambassador of Protiviti in the market. You will also be a mentor and provide growth and development to teams as you oversee the successful completion of project work plans.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline (e.g., MIS, Finance/Accounting, Engineering)
  • 7+ years working in professional services or industry.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite applications with specific emphasis on Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting practices.

Nice To Haves

  • Workday certified in Workday Record to Report and / or Contracts to Cashis strongly preferred, with certifications in Accounting Center, and/or Prism as a plus.
  • Experience with Microsoft Fabric, Python, and Power BI is considered a strong asset, particularly for data conversion, validation, reconciliation, and reporting activities.

Responsibilities

  • Leading / managing future state design and process improvement projects focused on Record to Report (R2R) and/or Order to Cash (O2C) business functions.
  • Providing business integrator support for large-scale Workday Financials implementations, coordinating across client teams, system integrators, and third-party vendors to drive process alignment, organizational readiness, issue resolution, testing, training, and successful deployment outcomes.
  • Serving as a solution architect, project manager and/or workstream lead for R2R and/or O2C during the design and implementation of Workday.
  • Serving as a project manager over large, complex Workday Financials implementations
  • Developing Workday Financials and Accounting Center implementation plans, including estimating the level of effort, timing and costs
  • Designing and implementing Workday. Key responsibilities as part of these initiatives include leading and performing: requirements definition, facilitating design workshops, testing, data conversion, training, cutover, and post go-live support.
  • Establishing and cultivating business relationships and a professional network, including with senior executives.
  • Successfully pursuing business development opportunities and identifying and implementing strategies to obtain new work or clientele.
  • Translating and communicating issues, risks or challenges to client personnel, including executives.
  • Leadership and direct supervisory experience of teams including conducting performance appraisals, mentoring and coaching, oversight and review of work, coordination across teams, and understanding how to motivate.
