Protiviti is seeking a Business Performance Improvement Consultant to join their team in Philadelphia. This role involves helping clients with challenges in finance, operations, people, and change. Consultants collaborate with teams to deliver high-quality, client-focused solutions to complex business problems faced by leading companies. The role emphasizes developing a broad range of capabilities and skill sets, with a focus on learning through real work, collaboration, and mentorship. Consultants will gain experience in different industries, grow technical and professional capabilities, and develop leadership qualities. The position is part of Protiviti's innovative approach to equip consultants with the knowledge, skills, technical aptitude, and coaching to become future leaders. Consultants will experience a variety of projects designed to fuel curiosity, build capability, drive impact, and prepare them for the next career level. They will learn alongside experienced leaders, develop a strong understanding of business processes, and build technical skills in general risk areas. Responsibilities include compiling and analyzing data, documenting findings, communicating insights, and developing professional relationships with clients and project teams. Successful consultants manage time and priorities effectively, take ownership of assignments, and contribute to team results. The role offers hands-on training in a supportive, high-performance environment with opportunities to interact with leaders across the practice. Talent Managers will assign projects to support career growth, skills, and business needs. A network of advisors will provide support, and there are opportunities to join committees, participate in employee network groups, and engage in social, civic, and networking activities.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a relevant discipline (e.g., Accounting, Finance, Human Resources, Project Management, Supply Chain, or other business majors).
  • Authorization to work in the United States for Protiviti without sponsorship now or in the future.
  • Must be within one year of final graduation at the time of internship.
  • Experience solving problems using AI-powered productivity and collaboration tools (i.e. Microsoft Copilot, GenAI, etc.).
  • Advanced verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to apply critical thinking skills and innovation to client engagements across various industries.
  • Technical proficiency aligning to assigned capability area.
  • Works effectively in teams, as well as independently.
  • Being creative and analytical.
  • Passionate about evaluating, synthesizing, organizing, and interpreting data and information.
