About The Position

Dominion Energy is seeking a Business Performance Analyst to join the Electric Distribution Asset Management team. The Electric Distribution Asset Management team includes the following organizations: Asset Management, Program Management, Forestry, Standards, and GIS. The team is critical to Dominion Energy's commitment to reliable, affordable, and increasing clean energy. This Business Performance Analyst will be responsible for supporting the team through reporting and analysis, operational progress, and financial performance (both Capital & O&M). The role will include responsibility for developing and maintaining dashboards in Power Bi and utilizing other tools to support the team’s business strategies and analysis needs.

Requirements

2-3+ years of relevant experience in directly related field (Mid-Level).
5-6+ years of relevant directly related work experience (Senior Level).
Strong planning, organizational and project management skills with the ability to facilitate and/or work on multiple project teams simultaneously.
Ability to exercise independent judgment and decision-making.
Effective analytical skills.
Strong computer skills.
Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and demonstrated related experience.
Experience with Power BI.
Understanding and interpreting Electric Distribution data experience is strongly preferred.

Nice To Haves

Prior Experience working with Amazon Quick Sight.
Electric Distribution Experience.

Responsibilities

Prepare, analyze, and present financial case studies for a business process.
Define and develop performance metrics.
Analyze and recommend data collection process improvements.
Ensure data integrity as it relates to reporting and analytics.
Identify and implement better work and business processes.
Develop cost/allocation, cost/benefit programs and models to support the development of business strategies.
Develop programs and implement automated methods and systems to track workflow and performance efficiencies.
Perform varied analyses of an economic, business, and engineering nature.
Provide assistance and leadership to co-workers (Senior Level only).
