Business Outcome Analyst

Atlas AirMiami, FL
$86,000 - $117,000Hybrid

About The Position

The Business Outcome Analyst (BOA) at Atlas Air Worldwide is a multifaceted role focused on supporting squads or projects by clarifying requirements, removing obstacles, and facilitating workflow to ensure the delivery of promised outcomes. This role blends the responsibilities of a business analyst, scrum master, project manager, document writer, and team facilitator. Unlike traditional business analysts, BOAs are not solely focused on creating extensive documentation. They are also more involved than a hands-off scrum master and go beyond a project manager's typical go-live focus by ensuring post-launch value delivery. BOAs are pragmatic leaders who understand business strategy and strategic intent, aiming to maximize the business value delivered by their squad. They act as crucial communication bridges between product owners, project managers, stakeholders, and the squad. They facilitate squad planning and retrospectives to ensure reliable delivery and continuous improvement. Importantly, BOAs do not have direct reporting authority over the squad; instead, they champion the development of self-managing teams and avoid becoming a single point of failure. They are also responsible for upholding company values and behavioral standards as outlined in the Code of Conduct.
