About The Position

Keeley Construction is seeking a Business Optimization Intern for Summer 2027. The intern will support efforts to improve business processes through technology, AI, analytics, automation, and operational efficiency. The role involves analyzing company data, building dashboards, supporting AI-powered tools and workflows, collaborating with stakeholders, and sharing findings and recommendations with team members and leadership.

Requirements

• Pursuing a degree in Business Analytics, Data Analytics, Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Interest in artificial intelligence, business process improvement, automation, and data analytics.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to interpret data and communicate insights effectively.
• Agree to complete an assessment for selection and a pre-employment drug screen.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with Microsoft Excel, Power BI, Tableau, or similar reporting tools.
• Experience with AI tools such as Microsoft Copilot, ChatGPT, Power Automate, or similar technologies.

Responsibilities

• Assist in evaluating business processes and identifying opportunities for improvement through technology and AI solutions.
• Support the development and implementation of AI-powered tools, workflows, and programs to streamline operations.
• Build and maintain dashboards that provide meaningful business insights using company data.
• Analyze data from various systems and data lakes to identify trends, opportunities, and actionable recommendations.
• Participate in business optimization projects focused on automation, process improvement, and operational efficiency.
• Conduct process audits and recommend improvements using technology, analytics, and AI tools.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and support data-driven decision-making.
• Present findings, recommendations, and project updates to team members and leadership.
