About The Position

Applied Materials is seeking enthusiastic and driven college interns to join the AGS Business Operations & Strategy team onsite in Santa Clara, CA for Summer 2027. Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Business, Computer Science, Supply Chain, Operations or a related field
• GPA of 3.0 or above preferred
• Basic understanding of project management principles and methodologies.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
• Proficiency in data analysis, data visualization, and statistical software/tools.
• Creativity and attention to detail in event planning and communication tasks.

• MBA is a plus

Responsibilities

• Utilize computer science skills to develop and enhance data pipelines that automate the flow of data required for Sales & Operation Planning.
• Create effective data visualizations using tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or similar platforms to present data insights in a clear and actionable manner.
• Support various operational projects by implementing best practices in operational excellence, developing frameworks to streamline processes, and creating ways of working models to enhance productivity and efficiency.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify areas for improvement, document processes, and track project progress.
• Effectively manage projects within the AGS operations organization, including creating project plans, aligning on resources, and monitoring project timelines.
• Communicate regularly with stakeholders and provide status updates.
• Create engaging content such as brochures, newsletters, and support employee events.
• Create a robust segmentation framework/document to outline the various stakeholders.
• Analyze gold standard for existing strategy presentations and develop best known methods (BKMs) for future decks.
