About The Position

We are seeking a Temporary Business Operations Specialist to join our Business Operations team in San Jose for a 6-month contract. There may be opportunities to extend the temporary period or transition to a full-time direct hire, contingent upon performance, adherence to company policies, and business needs. This is an excellent opportunity to gain experience with a global industry leader, collaborate with diverse stakeholders, and make an immediate impact on critical business functions. You will play a vital role in ensuring smooth daily operations, collaborating closely with our North America Sales team and TSMC Headquarters in Taiwan to resolve business operational challenges. This role offers a unique chance to dive into the fast-paced semiconductor industry and contribute to high-impact projects. You will report directly to the Department Manager of the Business Operations Support team.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree from an accredited university in Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
  • 1-3 years of professional experience in business operations, supply chain, or a related field; experience in the semiconductor industry is a plus.
  • Proven strong data analysis skills with meticulous attention to detail.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) for data manipulation, reporting, and presentation.

Responsibilities

  • Facilitate and manage customer order processing and delivery schedules, ensuring timely execution and communication.
  • Execute shipments in strict compliance with global export regulations, maintaining accuracy and adherence to legal standards.
  • Coordinate and execute daily business operations, including product loading prioritization, business transactions, and sales data analysis to proactively identify and solve operational issues.
  • Serve as a point of contact for customer inquiries regarding delivery status, shipments, RMAs, and other operational matters, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.
  • Actively participate in conference calls, and project meetings, including taking meeting minutes and following up on action items (AR).
  • Partner with Account Managers to support new account engagements, ensure accurate pricing, and investigate pricing discrepancies across various foundry business aspects.
  • Collaborate effectively with TSMC's cross-functional teams located in the US and global locations, fostering strong working relationships.
  • Contribute to special projects and post-sales service initiatives as assigned, leveraging your analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Pay Transparency Statement: At TSMC, your base pay is only part of your overall total compensation package. At the time of this posting, this role typically pays a base salary between $32/hr and $39/hr. The range displayed reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hires. Actual pay may be more or less than the posted range. Factors that influence pay include the individual's skills, qualifications, education, experience and the position level and location.
