About The Position

Global Impact Group LLC is a Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) and ISO 9001 / ISO 17100 certified provider of interpretation, translation, and staffing services. We deliver secure, high-quality language access solutions for USCIS and other federal agencies across more than 80 languages. We are seeking a Business Operations Manager to support our USCIS contract. This role ensures continuity of leadership, manages day-to-day operations, and provides oversight when the Program Manager is engaged in executive-level responsibilities.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management, or related field (Master’s preferred).
5+ years of operations or contract management experience, preferably in federal contracting or language services.
Strong understanding of USCIS/DHS protocols, FAR regulations, and compliance requirements.
Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
Must be a U.S. Citizen or permanent resident eligible for Tier 3/Tier 5 clearance.

Nice To Haves

Experience managing multilingual teams or service delivery projects preferred.

Responsibilities

Oversee daily operations for multiple task orders (OPI, VRI, ASL, translation).
Serve as acting lead in the Program Manager’s absence.
Coordinate with Project Managers, Scheduling Coordinators, and CORs to ensure seamless service delivery.
Support risk management, compliance tracking, and performance reporting.
Monitor service-level agreements (SLAs) and escalate issues for resolution.
Assist with financial oversight, including invoice reviews and cost tracking.
Manage process improvement initiatives to increase efficiency and reduce costs.
Mentor and support project staff to ensure consistent quality across the contract.
