About The Position

As a Business Operations Manager within Asset Class Operations, you'll serve as a strategic business leader supporting Capital Group's Fixed Income asset class. You'll operate at the intersection of the Investment Group, North American Client Group, Asset Class Services, and Investment Product Management, helping connect investment insights, business priorities, and client needs across the organization. In this highly collaborative role, you'll help drive growth, alignment, and scalability by translating business and investment priorities into actionable strategies, operating plans, and cross-functional initiatives. You'll partner with senior stakeholders to execute business plans, improve operating effectiveness, develop client- and sales-ready resources, and deliver strategic initiatives that support the success of the Fixed Income business. You'll work closely with investment leaders, product managers, sales partners, marketing teams, and other business stakeholders to ensure priorities are aligned, critical initiatives move forward, and Fixed Income capabilities are effectively positioned to support client outcomes and business growth.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience in asset management, business operations, investments, product management, product operations, business management, consulting, strategy, or a related business function.
  • Proven track record of leading cross-functional initiatives from strategy through execution, delivering meaningful business outcomes.
  • Strong stakeholder management and influence skills with the ability to build alignment across teams and senior leaders.
  • Exceptional communication, presentation, and content development skills, with the ability to engage diverse audiences and convey complex ideas clearly and effectively.
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
  • Comfortable navigating ambiguity, exercising sound judgment, and independently driving initiatives to successful outcomes.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.

  • Experience within asset management, investment management, wealth management, banking, or financial services.
  • Exposure to Fixed Income products, markets, or investment strategies.
  • Experience supporting senior business, investment, or product leaders in a matrixed organization.
