About The Position

StemWave is seeking an experienced Business Operations Manager to lead the business side of the company. This is a leadership position for someone who has already managed teams, owned a P&L, and worked directly with lawyers on contracts, compliance, and disputes. The role requires someone who can immediately take meaningful operational responsibility off the CEO's plate and run key parts of the business with ownership and judgment. The Business Operations Manager will work directly with the CEO to oversee critical parts of the business, with real authority, accountability, and autonomy to make decisions. StemWave is a self-funded, fast-growing medical device company focused on shockwave therapy technology.

Experience working directly with outside counsel on contracts, legal matters, or compliance.
Proven history of managing budgets, solving operational problems, and navigating legal or vendor relationships in a fast-moving business.

Responsibilities

Own Financial Performance: Review a business P&L, oversee budgets, monitor revenue and expenses, identify risks and opportunities, and provide clear, actionable reporting on performance.
Lead Legal & Contract Operations: Serve as the primary liaison with outside counsel, managing contracts, compliance matters, negotiations, and disputes while knowing when executive involvement is needed.
Drive Company Operations: Lead key operational processes, oversee leadership meetings, improve execution across departments, and ensure priorities are moving forward with minimal oversight.
