About The Position

SpaceX seeks extraordinary students to join us for Summer 2027 business operations roles. As an intern, you will work closely with your mentor and other employees who will help you apply your knowledge and grow your skills on projects that have a significant impact. You’ll also get to have some fun and network with other interns and employees through optional social and professional events. If you’ve demonstrated a commitment to academic success and motivation to apply your knowledge outside of the classroom, you are a great candidate! Internships are available with a variety of teams across the company in Brownsville, TX; Cape Canaveral, FL; Hawthorne (Los Angeles), CA; McGregor (Waco), TX; Redmond (Seattle), WA; and Washington, D.C.

Requirements

Must be enrolled in a bachelor’s degree or graduate degree program
3+ months experience in corporate and business functions (data analysis, finance, human resources, IT, government affairs, legal, and supply chain management is applicable)
Must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. lawful permanent resident (e.g., green card holder), Refugee under 8 U.S.C. § 1157, or Asylee under 8 U.S.C. § 1158.
Able to work full time, onsite for a minimum of 12 consecutive weeks beginning in May or June 2027
Able to provide own transportation for positions at Brownsville, Cape Canaveral, and McGregor locations

Responsibilities

Work closely with your mentor and other employees to apply knowledge and grow skills on projects that have a significant impact.
Participate in optional social and professional events for networking.
Contribute to automating processes, managing projects, and tracking performance (Finance).
Support customer service, employee onboarding, HRIS administration, and program implementation (Human Resources).
Conduct legal research and analysis, report on legal risks, and assist with contract preparation and negotiations (Legal).
Analyze supplier and spend data, communicate with suppliers, and purchase goods or services (Purchasing).
Support various operations including food and beverage, housing, transportation, and facilities (Spaceport Operations).
Drive initiatives to grow the customer base, create processes to improve customer experience, and improve efficiencies (Starlink Business Operations).
Innovate and improve efficiencies in business processes for the Supply Chain team (Supply Chain Business Operations).
