About The Position

This role blends accounting and administrative responsibilities, with an opportunity to explore HR opportunities as your role with the company progresses. You will serve as an on-site extension of executive leadership—helping manage priorities, drive execution, solve problems, and ensure important initiatives move forward. The ideal candidate will support the company in meeting its objectives and goals by performing a variety of data entry and administrative tasks in the Accounting/Finance department. This includes processing invoices, transactions, expenses as well as updating our accounting database.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 5+ years of accounting experience
  • Excellent communication skills; written and verbal.
  • Excellent Excel skills (ie. pivot tables, vlookup)
  • Strong organizational skills to manage a high volume of documents.
  • Work well in a team, under pressure, and be able to multi-task.
  • Must be Computer Savvy: required to have skills with QuickBooks, Word, Excel, Adobe PDF, web navigation, apps, and troubleshooting.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills required, including the ability to communicate in a professional manner, and maintain positive working relationships with co-workers and customers.

  • Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business, or a related field strongly preferred

Responsibilities

  • Work directly with the Co-CEO on priorities, communications, and ongoing initiatives
  • Draft emails, proposals, and internal/external communications
  • Track key projects and action items and help ensure follow-through
  • Coordinate across teams and hold initiatives accountable to deadlines
  • Handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion
  • Support day-to-day office and administrative operations
  • Manage scheduling, documentation, and business workflows
  • Identify inefficiencies and proactively improve processes
  • Manage multiple entity and intercompany transactions
  • Prepare and maintain accounting documents, records, and files
  • Maintain accounts by verifying, allocating, and posting transactions
  • Review chart of accounts for relevance and accuracy
  • Balance accounts by reconciling entries
  • Reconcile balance sheet accounts
  • Balance general ledger by reconciling entries
  • Maintain historical records by filing documents
  • Prepare financial reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing account information
  • Prepare and keep track of multiple types of practitioner and corporate invoices
  • Manage bill payments for various accounts
  • Manage customer payments
  • Comply with federal, state, and local legal requirements and advise on necessary actions
