About The Position

MDW Associates is seeking multiple Business Operations and Program Management Analysts at the Mid, Senior, and Expert levels to support the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency (NGA) in the Fort Belvoir-Springfield, Virginia and St. Louis and Arnold, Missouri areas. These professionals will help Government program offices manage program execution, schedules, risks, resources, business operations, and leadership reporting. Positions are primarily onsite at NGA facilities. A limited number of assignments may be performed at a government approved contractor site within an accredited SCIF. These assignments are not home-based remote positions.

Requirements

  • Mid-Level: Three to ten years of relevant experience with a bachelor's or master's degree.
  • Senior Level: At least ten years of relevant experience with a master's degree.
  • Expert Level: Master of Business Administration or another relevant graduate degree.
  • Industry recognized expertise in business operations, program management, organizational strategy, or portfolio management.
  • Maintain an active Top Secret clearance with Sensitive Compartmented Information access and remain eligible for NGA adjudication and access.
  • Comply with NGA security requirements and complete a counterintelligence scope polygraph when required.
  • Comply with all requirements for access to NGA facilities, systems, information, and approved classified workspaces.

Nice To Haves

  • Direct NGA or GEOINT mission experience.
  • Project Management Professional or Defense Acquisition Workforce Improvement Act certification.
  • Advanced experience with Microsoft Project, Jira, Confluence, SharePoint, Defense Travel System, Agile methods, or Earned Value Management.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor program cost, schedule, performance, risk, and contract execution and identify issues requiring Government attention.
  • Develop and maintain integrated schedules, action item trackers, risk registers, program records, and management reports.
  • Prepare documentation and briefing materials for program management reviews, technical exchange meetings, sprint planning sessions, and senior leadership reviews.
  • Support acquisition planning and prepare Statements of Work, Performance Work Statements, market research, and Independent Government Cost Estimates as assigned.
  • Review contractor deliverables and track performance against program plans and contract requirements.
  • Manage official correspondence, program documentation, records, travel coordination, and collaboration sites such as SharePoint.
  • Analyze cross program dependencies and develop recommendations concerning resources, priorities, risks, and process improvements.
  • Lead or support organizational planning, business process improvement, portfolio management, and other special projects.
