About The Position

The Boeing Company is seeking a Business Operations and Knowledge Management Analyst to join the Law Department within the Law and Global Compliance (L&GC) organization based in Mesa, AZ. This role involves overseeing and optimizing business operations, managing library subscriptions, coordinating training, and leading efficiency improvement projects within the L&GC organization. The analyst will create and maintain project timelines, prepare executive-level presentations, and assist with legal administration and paralegal work design. The position requires strong project management, organizational, time management, communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills, along with familiarity with legal processes, compliance, and legal technology. Adaptability and a commitment to continuous learning are essential.

  • 5+ years of experience in a law firm or in-house counsel environment.
  • 5+ years of experience with Microsoft 365 suite, including Teams and Planner, for team collaboration and project management.
  • 5+ years of experience with Microsoft SharePoint for content management, collaboration, and site administration.
  • 5+ years of experience planning, executing, multitasking, managing timelines, tracking progress, and delivering projects on time.

Nice To Haves

  • 10+ years of related experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Experience with legal technology tools, including e-discovery platforms and legal research databases.
  • Experience with Salesforce reporting and dashboards for data analysis.

Responsibilities

  • Manage library subscriptions, including coordinating with suppliers, processing invoices, managing licenses and user access, conducting usage audits, and creating executive-level presentations for subscription-related matters.
  • Coordinate training opportunities with third-party vendors and outside counsel, organize continuing education presentations, source external training, and track completed training activities.
  • Plan, execute, and monitor projects from initiation to completion, including defining scope, objectives, deliverables, and timelines.
  • Develop and maintain project timelines, track progress, identify potential delays, and proactively address issues.
  • Implement project tracking systems to monitor progress, identify bottlenecks, and mitigate risks.
  • Prepare communication and talking points for stakeholders, including senior leadership, on project status and outcomes.
  • Improve efficiency within L&GC and manage ongoing projects to ensure sustained effectiveness.
  • Support data analytics efforts by providing relevant information and assisting with success metrics development.
  • Prepare communication and talking points to present to external groups and stakeholders to secure additional support or resources.
  • Develop and implement communication plans for new project rollouts, including creating presentations and materials for leadership.
  • Participate in the design, implementation, and communication of the L&GC Recognition Program.
  • Coordinate and schedule the L&GC Professional Development Series and the Law Department (LD) Fireside Chat Series.
  • Coordinate, schedule, and prepare the Law Department Support Staff slide deck.
  • Collaborate with the Compliance Analytics and Effectiveness (CAE) team to develop a Professional Toolkit.
  • Create and distribute L&GC Knowledge Management Newsletter.
  • Contribute to proposals that enhance and expand organizational initiatives aimed at improving efficiency and supporting professional development.
  • Support training development initiatives and other special projects as needed.
