Requirements
- Must possess a high school diploma or equivalent
- Excellent customer services and communication skills, both verbal and written
- High level of patience and tact
- Must be acutely detailed oriented and organized
- Be able to work independently with limited direction
Nice To Haves
- Skilled nursing home business office experience preferred
Responsibilities
- Performs Account receivable/payable, billing and resident account functions
- Completes the dashboard on a daily basis
- Verification of secondary insurance and claim status
- Prepares admission and financial packets
- Works with patients and/or family members to complete financial packets and obtains photographs of patient
- Assists in the collection process by making phone calls and preparing and mailing collection letters
- Scans and uploads all business office documents
- Fills in for the front desk during lunches and absences
