About The Position

Burnett Medical Center is seeking a full-time Business Office Manager with medical billing experience and understanding of the full revenue cycle. This role oversees the financial operations of the medical facility. They manage the end-to-end medical billing process, supervise business office staff, and optimize cash flow by ensuring accurate coding, claims submission and denial management.

Requirements

• 3-5+ years of progressive experience in medical billing, coding, and financial management, including supervisory experience.
• Deep understanding of medical terminology, HCPCS/CPT/ICD-10 coding, and proficiency with E.H.R. software.
• Requires critical thinking, project management, and conflict resolution.
• Ability to communicate verbally and in writing in order to interpret and explain business policies to employees and patients.
• Mathematical ability required to prepare activity reports and determine accuracy of employees’ work.
• Has the aptitude to work with patients and their representatives under stressful situations.
• Has a working knowledge of government billing programs.
• Ability to work efficiently with computers.

Nice To Haves

• Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration, Business and Finance is preferred, or equivalent years of progressive experience.
