Clarion Psychiatric Center offers inpatient treatment for adults with moderate to severe psychiatric problems, inpatient crisis stabilization for children and adolescents, and a Partial Hospitalization Program for school-aged children. Our recently expanded 112-bed inpatient program has 4 units. Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration and/or Health Administration required
  • 1-3 years related experience required

Nice To Haves

  • Certified Revenue Cycle Executive/ Professional (CRCE) or (CRCP) preferred

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and control all business office activities related to recording of revenue, billing, collecting, accounts receivable, admissions, and third-party logs.
  • Monitor and report on all accounts receivable; including all partial and inpatient billing performed by the hospital.
  • Make recommendations to Chief Financial Officer regarding status of accounts, planned actions, suggested improvements and any accounts receivable problems.
  • Train department employees for duties involved with admissions, data entry, and billing.
  • Document key task procedures, cross train, and foster communication among staff.
  • Specific to this facility are some financial accounting reporting responsibilities for monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting to Corporate Office.
