About The Position

Orthopedic Surgical Suites of Arizona is a fast-paced ASC environment committed to producing the highest quality work and experience for patients and their families. Orthopedic Surgical Suites of Arizona is hiring a Business Office Coordinator! The Business Office Coordinator (BOC) manages the day to day operations of the business office. The BOC is also responsible for the day-to-day supervision of Registration, Scheduling and Medical Records.

Requirements

  • Management of business office employees and processes
  • Responsible for the hiring, orientation, performance reviews and training of registration, scheduling and medical records staff
  • Responsible for thorough working knowledge of accounts receivable system including maintenance of the managed care contracts
  • Reconciles the cash receipts to the deposit log
  • Supervise all medical records activities of the center in a manner consistent with the clinical needs of the center
  • Follows all equipment safety guidelines and is personally responsible for knowledgeable use and care of equipment
  • Strategic planning of the business office
  • Maintain policies & procedures and systems to minimize accruals and the rate of bad debt and increase the productivity of related operations

Responsibilities

  • Knows, adheres to, and enforces all policies of the business office
  • Effective communication and working relationships with the USPI centralized business office
  • Management of business office employees and processes
  • Responsible for the hiring, orientation, performance reviews and training of registration, scheduling and medical records staff
  • Responsible for thorough working knowledge of accounts receivable system including maintenance of the managed care contracts
  • Reconciles the cash receipts to the deposit log
  • Supervise all medical records activities of the center in a manner consistent with the clinical needs of the center
