Vasona Creek Healthcare Center is seeking a dedicated, full-time Business Office Assistant to join our administrative team in Los Gatos, CA. We offer a competitive wage of $25.00 – $35.00 per hour along with a comprehensive benefits package. Requirements

  • Minimum 1–2 years of clerical or accounting experience (healthcare or skilled nursing facility experience highly preferred).
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel) and electronic health record/billing software (e.g., PointClickCare).
  • Strong interpersonal skills and a compassionate customer-service mindset.
  • Exceptional organization skills with a high level of accuracy in data entry.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.

Nice To Haves

  • Associate’s degree in business or finance is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with Medicare, Medi-Cal, and private insurance billing processes.
  • Track, log, and reconcile resident trust accounts and daily facility collections.
  • Answer phone calls, greet visitors, and assist residents and families with billing questions.
  • Maintain accurate financial records, census logs, and resident files in compliance with HIPAA.
  • Manage incoming/outgoing mail, order office supplies, and support the Business Office Manager.
