JOB TITLE: Business Office Aide – Business Enterprises JOB PURPOSE: Support daily cash handling and record-keeping operations for the campus retail units of the UW Business Enterprises subdivision
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Availability to work Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM – 12:00 PM.
- An interest in accounting or bookkeeping.
- Valid driver's license with a motor vehicle record (MVR) compliant with the Driving for University Business SAP.
Nice To Haves
- Experience with cash handling and Excel is preferred.
- Previous cash handling experience.
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office products (Outlook, Word, Excel, SharePoint).
- Experience working in an office environment.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Good organizational and time management skills.
Responsibilities
- Deliver and collect cash from campus retail units daily.
- Prepare cash bags for all retail units.
- Count and reconcile cash collected from retail locations.
- Maintain accurate records of transactions.
- Update and manage daily sales reports.
- Ensure the cleanliness and organization of the Cash Room.
- Sort and distribute mail.
- Run errands as needed.
- File and organize documents.
- Stock essential supplies.
- Assist with special projects as assigned.
- Provide exceptional customer service.
