About The Position

This role is part of the Business Unit Marketing Team, which acts as the strategic consultant to, and primary bridge between, practice group leadership and the broader Marketing & Client Development organization. This team translates commercial objectives and competitive insight into marketing and client development plans. They work across Marketing & Client Development to activate these plans, offering the appropriate level of strategic and tactical support tailored to the needs of each business unit.

Requirements

  • After orientation at Cooley LLP, exhibit proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite, iManage and other firm applications
  • Available to work overtime, as required

  • Experience writing and editing proposals
  • Working knowledge of pursuit technologies (e.g., Templify and Foundation)

Responsibilities

  • Provide daily administrative support to the team, including managing calendars, agendas, and internal project trackers.
  • Support task workflows by maintaining accurate data and ensuring the necessary support and materials are provided for opportunities across the firm.
  • Work across teams and MCD to update contact lists and relationship data within CRM.
  • Provide ongoing updates and maintenance for practice descriptions, pitch support, brochures, and digital bios to ensure "Always Ready" availability.
  • Utilize standardized BU-Marketing tools, templates, and playbooks to increase efficiency and support a scalable model for continued growth.
  • Follow a consistent approach to how processes and workflows are managed, ensuring that standard best practices and firm-wide templates are applied to every project.
