About The Position

The Business Manager is the operations leader at the school, responsible for all non-instructional functions including staff services and scheduling; purchasing; regulatory compliance, and back-end admissions and accounting support. This role is critical to the success of the school, its community, and the achievement of our mission by driving high levels of staff satisfaction with scheduling, facilities, and overall school operations, ensuring little to no variance between discretionary budgets and actual spending, and creating time and capacity for the Head of School to provide overall leadership. The Business Manager prepares the campus environment to ensure an outstanding experience for everyone.

  • Bachelor's degree in any subject
  • Experienced working in an administrative capacity in schools or similar environments
  • Strong organizational, project management, customer service, and communication skills
  • US citizen or green cardholder

Nice To Haves

  • Live in Southern California
  • At least 12 early childhood education credits (at least 3 credits must include infant/toddler care and development)
  • Experience working in Montessori schools in any capacity
  • Valid pediatric CPR and first aid certification
  • Interesting hobbies, skills, and life experiences
