About The Position

The Business Manager provides oversight of the business, financial, and operational support functions of the Oklahoma State Department of Health (OSDH) Public Health Laboratory (PHL), located in Stillwater, Oklahoma.

Requirements

  • A bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or business, healthcare or public administration or management, or other relevant field from an accredited institution.
  • At least one year of professional experience in business management, accounting, or procurement.

Nice To Haves

  • Master’s degree in Business Administration (MBA), Public Health (MPA), Public Health (MPH), or Health Administration (MHA).
  • At least 1 year in a supervisory role.
  • Experience in healthcare or equivalent setting.
  • Professional certification such as Certified Public Manager (CPM), Certified Government Financial Manager (CGFM), or Certified Public Accountant (CPA).
