About The Position

Level Group Ltd is a Nashville-based business management firm dedicated to the music and entertainment industries. We handle the complex financial and business operations for bands, artists, and creative professionals, allowing them to stay focused on their craft. At Level, we believe our success is driven by our people. We are looking for a motivated, detail-oriented intern who is eager to dive into the "business side" of show business. As a Business Management Intern, you will work alongside our account teams to support the financial health of our high-profile clients. This isn’t just about filing papers; you’ll gain a front-row seat to how the music industry operates behind the scenes, from tour accounting to royalty tracking.

Requirements

Pursuing a degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, or Music Business.
Successfully received a high school diploma or equivalent and are anticipating graduating from a related post-secondary program within the next 18 months.
Detail-oriented.
Understand the importance of discretion and confidentiality when working with high-profile clients.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and ask questions.

Nice To Haves

Genuine interest in the entertainment industry and understanding of the financial aspects.
Ability to spot errors in numbers.

Responsibilities

Assist with accounts payable/receivable and data entry for artist accounts.
Help track tour expenses, per diems, and nightly settlements to ensure life on the road stays on budget.
Support the team in organizing and reviewing royalty statements from streaming, publishing, and physical sales.
Assist with document management, scanning, and digital filing to keep client records audit-ready.
Tackle research projects related to industry trends, tax compliance, or insurance for touring entities.
