Business Intelligence Lead (Senior)

Interclypse is seeking a Business Intelligence Lead to join their team, supporting Maryland state agencies in modernizing critical systems. Requirements
- Bachelor’s in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field or equivalent work experience.
- Seven (7) years of IT and business/industry work experience.
- Three (3) years as a technical expert in an IT organization, coaching and mentoring junior technical staff.
- Provide technical input into the most complex and high impact IT decisions.
- Accountable for the most complex enterprise-wide applications and issues, translating highly complex concepts for peers and customers.
- In-depth knowledge of state-of-the art programming languages and object-oriented approach in designing, coding, testing and debugging programs.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS
- Knowledge of ETL processes and tools (e.g., Informatica, Talend)
- Certification in Qlik Sense or other BI Platforms
Nice To Haves
- A Master’s degree is preferred.
- Experience with other BI tools (QuickSight, Tableau) is a plus
Responsibilities
- Lead the design, development, and maintenance of Qlik Sense dashboards and reports
- Translate business requirements into technical solutions that provide actionable insights
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather reporting needs and ensure optimal user experience
- Manage and mentor a team of BI developers, providing guidance and ensuring best practices
- Optimize Qlik Sense data models and visualizations for performance and scalability
- Ensure data accuracy, security, and governance across reporting platforms
- Drive automation and standardization of recurring reporting processes
- Monitor usage and performance of dashboards, and implement enhancements as needed
- Stay current with Qlik Sense capabilities, industry BI trends and emerging technologies
