About The Position

Ibotta is seeking a Business Intelligence Intern to join their innovative team as a participant in the 2027 Summer Internship program. This role offers the opportunity to fully integrate with the team and directly contribute to ongoing Ibotta business initiatives. Interns will also participate in curated teach-outs designed to build essential skills for career transition and development. The ideal candidate is eager to learn, excited to work on real-world business challenges, and wants to be part of a mission-driven company. This is a full-time, 12-week internship during the summer of 2027, located in Denver, Colorado. It is a hybrid position requiring 3 days in-office per week (Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday). Candidates must reside in the United States.

Requirements

Juniors working towards a bachelor’s degree with a focus in computer science, information systems, business analytics, statistics, or a related field.
Proven ability to think creatively and implement ideas from start to finish.
Good written and verbal communication skills.
Hunger to learn and collaborate with your teammates.
Basic SQL or Python for querying and manipulating data.
Comfortable working in a team environment, asking questions, and documenting findings or issues clearly.
Ability to work with data, spot inconsistencies, and ensure accuracy in reporting and analysis.
Must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis.

Nice To Haves

Exposure to business intelligence platforms (such as Looker, Tableau, or Power BI).

Responsibilities

Conduct exploratory data analysis and generate ad hoc reports to answer business questions or support ongoing projects.
Support the creation, migration, and improvement of business intelligence dashboards using tools like Looker and Databricks.
Help gather requirements, build visualizations, and test new or updated dashboards for accuracy and usability.
