About The Position

The Leading Hotels of the World is seeking a Business Intelligence Intern to support the BICI (Business Intelligence & Customer Insights) team. As an intern, you will assist in the creation and maintenance of Tableau reports and dashboards, supporting data validation and cleanup efforts, and ensuring consistency in key business definitions across datasets. You will work with data from multiple sources to fulfill ad-hoc reporting requests and provide timely, accurate insights to internal teams and member hotels. This position offers hands-on experience in business intelligence processes while contributing to data-driven decision-making across Sales, Marketing, Finance, and Membership. This is a part-time (up to 29 hours per week) position located in New York City from mid-June through September 2026 and requires being in office on Wednesdays and Thursdays with additional remote hours during the week.

Requirements

  • Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Statistics, Data Analytics, Information Systems, or a related field.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office Suite, including pivot tables, lookups, and data organization.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a high attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy and organization.
  • Strong time management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
  • Positive, collaborative, and customer-focused approach to working with cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to represent/demonstrate LHW performance drivers.

Nice To Haves

  • Relevant coursework or academic exposure to data analysis, reporting, statistics, or business intelligence tools preferred.
  • Exposure to or interest in learning Tableau or similar BI/reporting tools to support dashboards and reporting initiatives.
