As a Business Intelligence Engineer II, you'll play a key role in the design, development, and maintenance of business intelligence solutions that power data-driven decision-making across the organization. You'll work closely with data engineers, analytics teams, and business stakeholders to build and maintain Tableau reports and dashboards, and curate reliable, well-structured data in Snowflake. You'll be expected to work independently on BI deliverables while also contributing to team best practices and supporting the growth of the business.

Requirements

3+ years of experience in Business Intelligence, Data Analytics, or equivalent experience
Proven proficiency in SQL, including complex joins, window functions, aggregations, and query optimization
Demonstrated experience building and maintaining production-grade dashboards and reports in Tableau
Hands-on experience with Snowflake or a comparable cloud data warehouse
Familiarity with data modeling concepts such as star schema and dimensional modeling
Ability to work independently on deliverables while collaborating effectively across teams
Strong communication skills with the ability to translate business needs into technical solutions

Nice To Haves

Degree (or equivalent experience) in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Analytics, or a related field
Experience with version control tools such as Git and familiarity with CI/CD practices
Exposure to Python or another scripting language for data manipulation or automation
Current business focused AI use.

Responsibilities

Design, build, and maintain Tableau dashboards and reports that deliver clear, actionable insights to business stakeholders across multiple domains
Write, optimize, and maintain SQL in Snowflake to source, transform, and curate data for reporting and analytical use cases
Develop and maintain data models that support scalable, reusable BI solutions
Identify, investigate, and resolve data quality issues, ensuring reports reflect accurate and trustworthy data
Partner with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into well-designed BI solutions
Participate in and contribute to code reviews with a focus on performance, readability, and maintainability
Monitor existing dashboards and pipelines, proactively identifying and resolving issues before they impact stakeholders
Document data definitions, report logic, and processes to support team knowledge sharing
Contribute to the identification and resolution of technical debt within the BI environment
Stay current on Tableau and Snowflake capabilities and advocate for adoption of best practices across the team
