About The Position

This role involves the development of ongoing reports, analyses, and dashboards to guide important decisions and process improvements. The Business Intelligence Engineer II will work with Supply Chain teams on areas including network/topology planning and design, capacity planning, inventory placement, transportation planning, and delivery experience to improve customer experience and in-stock positions. The engineer will analyze demand and resource requirements against available resources to identify risks and opportunities and provide recommendations to solve for resource constraints. This role requires communication with other technology teams to extract, transform, and load data from several data sources using SQL and multiple technological platforms. The engineer will recognize and adopt best practices in reporting, data integrity, test design, analysis, validation, and documentation. They will analyze and solve problems at their root, stepping back to understand the broader context, and respond to high priority requests from senior business leaders. Additionally, the role focuses on improving ongoing analysis processes, automating or simplifying self-service support for secondary data sets. Telecommuting is permitted up to 2 days/week.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Analytics, Information Management, Data Science, or related field and 5 years of experience as a Business Intelligence Analyst or related position/occupation.
  • Master’s degree in Business Analytics, Information Management, Data Science, or related field and 3 years of experience as a Business Intelligence Analyst or related position/occupation.
  • 3 years of experience with Forecasting and Supply Chain
  • 3 years of experience with Tableau, Excel and SQL expertise
  • 3 years of experience with Python
  • 3 years of experience with knowledge of data warehousing
  • 3 years of experience with Snowflake
  • 3 years of experience with Data modeling experience in Retail/E-commerce
