About The Position
This internship is for a motivated Information Systems student, junior-level college student, or recent graduate who wants hands-on experience working with business intelligence tools, data analytics, and reporting solutions that support manufacturing and operational excellence. It's an excellent opportunity to apply classroom learning while gaining practical experience with industry-leading technologies such as Power BI, SQL, ERP systems, and advanced Excel tools. The intern will learn and do the following: Business Intelligence & Reporting: Help develop and maintain interactive Power BI dashboards and reports, assist with data integration, system implementations, and migration projects, create meaningful data visualizations, scorecards, and KPI dashboards, and validate data accuracy and investigate reporting discrepancies. Data Analytics & Database Support: Extract, organize, and analyze data from ERP systems, SQL databases, and other business applications, build and modify SQL queries, document data sources, report requirements, and business rules, and identify trends, patterns, and opportunities within business data. Technology & User Support: Assist team members in utilizing reporting and analytics tools, help troubleshoot data and reporting issues, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business processes and data needs.
Requirements
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Business Analytics, Computer Information Systems, Data Analytics, Computer Science, or a related field (Junior or Senior standing preferred), or a recent graduate.
- Interest in data analysis, technology, and business process improvement.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Comfortable working with data and learning new software applications.
- Eagerness to learn, ask questions, and contribute to meaningful projects.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with a team.
