Business Intelligence Data Analyst
About The Position
TrakMotive is seeking a Business Intelligence Data Analyst to transform our vast data landscape into actionable insights. In this role, you will act as a vital bridge between complex data systems and our strategic business units. You aren't just building reports; you are designing the visual narratives that allow our leadership to see the "why" behind the numbers. From architecting interactive dashboards to performing deep-dive data validation, your work ensures that every department—from Supply Chain to Sales—operates with a single version of the truth. Requirements
- Bachelor's degree
- 2+ years of experience in retail, business intelligence, data analytics, statistical analysis or other analytics related fields
- Experience with data visualization and analytics tools including SQL, Tableau, Power BI
- Experience with compiling, analyzing, summarizing, and presenting large complex data sets
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel
- Strong attention to detail and excellent organization skills
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
Nice To Haves
- Familiarity with automotive aftermarket industry, vehicle parts and parts data documentation knowledge
- Fluency in Mandarin and/or Spanish
Responsibilities
- Design, gather requirements, create and maintain interactive dashboards and reports for various organization departments
- Collect, clean, and transform large datasets from various sources (internal systems, third party tools, customer portals, etc.)
- Collaborate with business units to understand data needs and translate them into clear analytical solutions
- Develop documentation of procedures and process flows for key reports, data flows and business processes performed by the department
- Support the maintenance of internal company databases and files
- Conduct due diligence analysis and validation of various internal and external data related exercises
