About The Position

Explore our client's mission and data to discover new pathways to driving business decisions through intelligent representation of key data relationships, presenting trends, KPI's, and epiphanies in user-friendly power dashboards using PowerBI. Responsibilities: Advise clients and executive leadership to discover, understand and define key business factors that help simplify complex leadership decisions. Present findings and recommendations clearly to clients, adapting communication style to audience needs. Communicate ideas and vision for dashboards and analytics to both end-users and developer teams. Design, develop, and optimize user-friendly advanced Power BI dashboards to deliver Leverage SQL Server and TSQL to access, manipulate, and analyze data. Collaborate closely with development and database team.

Requirements

6+ years of experience in software development
5+ years of experience in data analysis or business intelligence
2+ years of experience in Power BI, including dashboard design and data visualization
2+ years of experience with SQL Server and TSQL
Ability to operate largely independently, determine tasking and stakeholder engagement based on investigative analysis of business needs and data sources
Ability to apply advanced analytical skills and data science to create actionable stories from user data
Top Secret clearance
Bachelor’s degree in computer science or data science

Nice To Haves

Experience in the development of algorithms leveraging R, Python, SQL, or NoSQL
Experience with distributed data and computing tools, including MapReduce, Hadoop, Hive, EMR, Kafka, Spark, Gurobi, or MySQL
Experience with visualization packages, including Plotly, Seaborn, or ggplot2
Possession of excellent verbal and written communication skills
