About The Position

Cimarron is seeking a Business Intelligence Automation Specialist to support the Missile Defense Agency (MDA) on the Integrated Research and Development for Enterprise Solutions (IRES) contract at the Redstone Arsenal in the Huntsville, AL area. This role involves designing, deploying, and maintaining automated workflows, streamlining reporting processes, architecting Power BI dashboards, establishing secure data connections, and querying/manipulating data.

Requirements

Must possess a valid, unexpired Real ID-compliant driver's license or state-issued identification card.
Ability to complete a pre-employment background check and drug screening.
Active Secret Clearance (or higher).
Proficiency in Microsoft Power Automate (formerly Microsoft Flow).
Experience with Power BI, including report creation and dashboard management.
Knowledge of data connections and API integrations.
Familiarity with SharePoint Online and the Microsoft 365 ecosystem.
Understanding of data formats, including Excel, CSV, JSON, and XML.
Basic knowledge of SQL and data querying.
Demonstrated experience creating and managing automated workflows.
Experience with report development and dashboard creation.
Work experience with data visualization and business intelligence tools.
12 or more years of general, full-time work experience (may be reduced with advanced education).
6 or more years of directly related experience in business intelligence, data analysis, or process automation.
6 or more months of experience working in a management or leadership role.

Nice To Haves

Microsoft Power Platform certifications (Power Automate, Power BI).
Experience with additional BI tools such as Tableau or Qlik.
Knowledge of Azure services and cloud-based data solutions.
Experience with Python, R, or other data analysis programming languages.
Project management experience.
Professional background in business analysis or data science.

Responsibilities

Design, deploy, and maintain robust automated workflows using Microsoft Power Automate to streamline enterprise processes and eliminate manual tasks.
Streamline reporting processes by creating automated workflows that publish reports to various dashboards, ensuring stakeholders receive timely and accurate business intelligence.
Architect and manage interactive Power BI dashboards and reports, translating complex data into actionable business intelligence for stakeholders.
Establish secure data connections and implement API integrations to ensure seamless data flow between SharePoint Online, external databases, and reporting tools.
Query and manipulate structured and unstructured data using SQL, and parse various data formats (JSON, XML, CSV) to prepare datasets for visualization and analysis.
