The Business Intelligence Architect is responsible for design, delivery, and support of organization wide business intelligence applications and architecture. This role involves developing new insights and understanding of business performance based on data and statistical methods. It also includes analyzing external market dynamics and other data sources to assess trends and develop actionable insights and recommendations to management. The architect will use data, statistical and quantitative analysis, explanatory and predictive modeling, and fact-based management to drive decision making. They will develop scalable and maintainable Business Intelligence (BI) applications to meet business objectives and work with business groups to develop and maintain a data warehouse platform for BI reporting. This role requires devising or modifying procedures to solve complex problems, capturing high-level business requirements into detailed functional specifications, and managing requests for changes to those specifications. The architect will apply system solutions to business problems through analyzing, designing, configuring, and maintaining systems to support business processes and functions, and work on elements of small to large, complex installations. Responsibilities also include performing basic systems analysis techniques, testing, debugging, file design and storage, and identifying and resolving gaps in business processes. The role serves as a liaison between business units, technology teams, and support teams, and manages change requests related to working project plans daily to meet agreed deadlines.
