About The Position

TekSynap is seeking a Business Intelligence Architect/Developer. This role requires a strong technical background in data analysis, business intelligence, and/or data science, with the ability to define and document requirements, including data flows and diagrams. The architect/developer will provide application analysis and data modeling design support to collect and distribute data, and assist with query and reporting analysis to access data warehouses and archives. This includes working with data in all stages of data processing, such as ETL, denormalization, and data cleansing. The position requires an understanding of various data stores, databases, data warehouses, and data lake houses, as well as proficiency with tools like SQL Server Integration Services, Azure Data Factory, Microsoft SQL Server Reporting Services, Data studio, and Databricks. Experience with languages and data formats such as parquet and JSON is necessary. Knowledge of Machine Learning modeling and AI prompt engineering is also required. The role involves working in environments with multiple data systems and facilitating data sharing between them.

Requirements

Microsoft Azure, AWS, Google, Apache/Spark, Elastic, R, Power BI, Databricks, Elastic, SAS, Snowflake, Teradata
2-4 years of experience
Demonstrated experience supporting government agencies, customers, or contracts within federal environments. This includes the Intelligence Community (IC), Department of Defense (DoD), Federal Civil agencies, and military organizations.
Prior experience supporting the same or similar contract, with an in-depth understanding of the customer environment, requirements, and operational landscape, is highly desirable.
U.S. Citizenship required
Background check required
Versed in Business Intelligence and data analysis software systems and concepts.
Strong technical experience in data analysis, business intelligence, and/or data science.
Knowledge of Machine Learning modeling and AI prompt engineering.

Nice To Haves

Prior experience supporting the same or similar contract, with an in-depth understanding of the customer environment, requirements, and operational landscape, is highly desirable.
