About The Position
The Business Intelligence Analyst is responsible for developing, enhancing, and maintaining applications using the Microsoft Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, and Power BI). This role supports process automation needs through innovative workflow solutions and involves working with clients to understand reporting requirements and communicate potential solutions. The position is a hybrid of reporting to the Metairie office, the client office in New Orleans, and work from home. Candidates must reside within commuting distance to Metairie and New Orleans for the in-office schedule prior to starting employment.
Requirements
- Bachelors degree in related field required (Computer Information Systems, Computer Science, Computer Engineering)
- Requires one (1) year to five (5) years Microsoft Power Platform experience
- Requires the ability to manage multiple projects and determine priorities
- Proven ability in preparing written communications
- Must have strong interpersonal and communication skills
Nice To Haves
- Business Intelligence Reporting experience
- Microsoft Power Platform or similar certification
- Working knowledge Oracle Primavera
Responsibilities
- Develop an understanding of SharePoint and MS SQL as backend platforms that support frontend solutions developed in Power Apps.
- Host meetings with stakeholders to understand their work processes, automation opportunities, and reporting requirements.
- Communicate potential solutions to all relevant stakeholders.
- Design, build, and maintain Power Apps applications that support workflows, data entry, and operational processes.
- Develop Power Automate flows to automate business processes, notifications, data movement, and integrations with internal systems.
- Utilize Python to support data transformation, automation logic, and integration tasks when needed.
- Develop Power BI dashboards and reporting solutions for users to efficiently navigate and interpret required data.
- Develop and implement routine tests to preserve data integrity across Power Apps, Power Automate, and Power BI solutions.
- Triage errors and user expectation gaps and collaborate with stakeholders to resolve issues.
