About The Position

Greater Good Health is seeking a Business Intelligence Analyst to help build the analytics foundation at the organization. The ideal candidate will be analytical, collaborative, and scrappy, with a growth mindset and a drive for continuous improvement in analytics processes and capabilities. As an early hire on the Data Analytics team, this role offers significant autonomy, a broad scope, and the opportunity to shape processes from the ground up. The position will impact daily operations and influence growth plans.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree
4+ years’ experience of demonstrated, advanced analytical skills with experience collecting, organizing, analyzing data, and communicating findings, preferably to executive-level leaders, and preferably in a healthcare environment
Strong technical skills – Power BI and advanced Excel experience required
Snowflake or equivalent SQL experience preferred
Claims experience preferred – Understanding/analyzing large claims datasets and deriving insights from them
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Excellent project management skills - Ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks to support various team members; Ability to complete assignments in a thorough, accurate and timely manner; Attention to detail and follow-through in tasks to meet completing demands deliverables

Responsibilities

Prepare, analyze, and summarize reports, while working to automate and streamline them into automated dashboards.
Conduct full lifecycle of analytics projects, including pulling, manipulating, and exporting data.
Develop analyses that identify trends and meaningful improvement opportunities; communicate findings to key stakeholders across the business.
Act as a liaison between staff and management, analyzing and interpreting data.
Prepare, analyze, and summarize various weekly, monthly, and periodic operational results for use by various key stakeholders.
Participate in regular meetings with management, assessing and addressing issues to identify and implement improvements toward efficient operations.
