The Business Intelligence Analyst will be responsible for working with various data to identify possible problems and efficiency issues, recommend conclusions, and interpret and write statistical report narratives. This role involves developing and applying consistent standards to detect problems with data presentations, creating graphs and longitudinal flowcharts, and gathering, reading, interpreting, and maintaining data for analytical purposes, policy decisions, and business operations. The analyst will also communicate complex information to nontechnical audiences, develop functional and technical specifications for data analysis, analyze large complex data sets to identify trends, write clear and concise reports, and provide technical support to end users of the database. The position requires knowledge in data systems creation methods, software applications for monitoring data, statistical and business analysis, division's current data systems (FOCUS, OnBase), database management, data acquisition strategies, data management, quality, use, and application, and applicable laws, rules, and policies regarding security, privacy, and management of confidential data. Additionally, knowledge of IT lifecycle and preventative disease and vaccination surveillance system design, operation, and maintenance, as well as qualitative and quantitative techniques for analyzing program/project efficacy and project management disciplines, is expected.
