About The Position

The Business Intelligence Analyst supports data‑driven decision‑making by analyzing complex business problems, identifying trends, and translating data into clear insights for non‑technical leaders. This role develops reporting requirements, builds analytical solutions, and partners with internal teams to deliver accurate, meaningful information. The analyst contributes to process improvements, supports project execution, and applies BI best practices across data management, analysis, and visualization.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in data analysis, business intelligence, or a related field.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
  • Basic to moderate experience developing SQL queries and procedures.
  • Foundational understanding of reporting automation and data modeling concepts.
  • Experience with R, Python, Azure, or similar analytical tools.
  • Familiarity with data visualization tools such as Power BI or DAX Studio.
  • Working knowledge of Agile or Lean methodologies.
  • Ability to apply data quality concepts to ensure accuracy and consistency.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze business problems using internal and external data to identify trends, patterns, and key drivers.
  • Translate business needs into reporting specifications and develop solutions for presenting information clearly and effectively.
  • Build and maintain queries, reports, and dashboards to support projects and operational decision‑making.
  • Partner with internal teams to research and resolve data‑related inquiries of moderate complexity.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement efforts, including process enhancements, team knowledge‑sharing, and best‑practice development.
