The Business Intelligence Analyst II will support the Development and Alumni Relations Finance and Administration team by acquiring, transforming, analyzing, and reporting financial and operational data. The Analyst will maintain and improve automation processes and Power BI dashboards that support financial reporting, planning, reconciliations, and decision-making. The Analyst will partner with finance leadership and staff to define data needs, troubleshoot existing workflows, and develop reliable tools and visualizations. The Business Intelligence Analyst II is responsible for data analytics and additional support for performance measures, ongoing measurement, data collection, reporting, data visualizations, and information dissemination. Responsible for participating in the strategic design and maintenance of business intelligence applications. The Business Intelligence Analyst II will identify, research, and resolve technical problems. The Business Intelligence Analyst II will ensure that the use of business intelligence applications enhances clinical and/or business decision-making capabilities. The Business Intelligence Analyst II will work on limited to moderately complex projects and gain exposure to more complex tasks within the job function. The Business Intelligence Analyst II will work under the supervision of a Data Trust Analytic Team Leader or other data governance or analytic leadership appropriate for the scope of work. This supervision may be through a matrixed or direct reporting structure. In addition to the duties listed above the Business Intelligence Analyst II will: Maintain, troubleshoot, document, and enhance Python scripts used by DAR Finance for recurring reporting, reconciliations, budget and forecast preparation, personnel cost analysis, allocations, and other finance workflows. Acquire, integrate, cleanse, transform, and validate data from general ledger, budget, payroll, procurement, expense, and other enterprise sources for Finance; reconcile outputs to authoritative financial records. Develop and maintain DAR Finance's Power BI data models, Power Query transformations, DAX measures, refresh processes, reports, and dashboards supporting budget-to-actual, forecast, fund balance, personnel cost, and transaction analysis. Establish Finance data-quality and governance standards, including financial mappings, metric definitions, reconciliations, documentation, version control, and repeatable controls for consistent, auditable reporting.
