About The Position

Develops impactful visualizations and reports for non-technical audiences and supports ad hoc reporting needs. Collaborates with subject matter experts to translate business requirements into well-documented deliverables and provides meaningful data to guide decision-making. Demonstrates proficiency in data extraction, validation, and manipulation to ensure accuracy and quality. This position is eligible for a higher grade based on experience. This role is not eligible for sponsorship now or in the future. This is a hybrid role, requiring working on site in Webster, MA 3 days per week. Remote candidates will not be considered.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Data Analytics or related field.
• 2-4 years' experience or equivalent, related knowledge.
• Personal or Commercial Lines Insurance experience.
• Proficiency in business intelligence tools (e.g. Power BI, Tableau)
• Working knowledge of SQL and Python for data querying, analysis, visualization and automation.
• Skilled in developing automated workflows and scripts to streamline data processing and reporting.
• Experience with cloud platforms and data warehousing technologies.
• Strong communication, presentation and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Creates more complex visualizations and/or reports tailored for consumption by a non-technical audience.
• Assists in developing and distributing ad hoc reporting.
• Provides support in meetings to translate business needs into clearly defined, well-documented, high-quality requirements to support reporting and visualization projects.
• Demonstrates a basic-to-intermediate understanding of the fundamentals of data extraction, validation, and manipulation.
• Supports colleagues with a variety of tasks and projects to meet deadlines.
• Collaborates with subject matter experts to effectively provide meaningful and valuable data to assist in executive decision-making.
• Exercises discretion and applies critical thinking relative to analysis, planning, and/or implementation of critical business initiatives.
